JW Anderson Unveils Collection Inspired by South Korean Cartoon 'Run Hany'

JW Anderson has officially dropped its anticipated Run Hany Fall/Winter 2022 capsule collection. The range was first introduced during the label's official FW22 presentation, which travelled the streets of Milan Fashion Week.

Inspired by the South Korean cult-loved, '80s cartoon Run Hany, the collection comprises a blend of reimagined everyday essentials and standout streetwear pieces that are perfect to make the forthcoming season a little more "gwiyeowo." JW Anderson's signature bags, the Bumper-Moon and Anchor, are reimagined in pastel hues and received a full Run Hany treatment.

Elsewhere, electric tracksuits, party dresses, art-covered hoodies, pop-cultural graphic tees, semi-sheer long sleeves, kitten heel boots, and accessories are accented with South Korean typography, kitsch heart motifs and the likeness of the cartoon's protagonist Hany, recreated by the franchise's original cartoonist. The exclusive drop also sees JW Anderson's moniker re-made in Run Hany's font.

Take a look at the campaign stills above lensed by Juergen Teller and cop the exclusive collection online or in JW Anderson's flagship Soho, London store now.
