Justin Bieber is the world's most famous Toronto Maple Leafs fan and he's been extremely vocal about his support of the team over the past few years.

In case Bieber's fandom wasn't readily apparent, he wrote a love letter to the Maple Leafs in a new song released Wednesday.

The video begins with an overheard shot of the City of Toronto before entering Scotiabank Arena. Next, we get to see Auston Matthews and Mitch Marner enter the dressing room followed by a supercut of Maple Leafs highlights from the past two seasons interspersed with Bieber's interactions with the team. As for the song itself, there aren't any direct mentions of the team, unless "heaven" in this case refers to the Maple Leafs finally hoisting Lord Stanley's mug.

I need you to hold on (Hold on)

Heaven is a place not too far away (Away, yeah)

We all know I should be the one

To say we all make mistakes (We all make mistakes)

Take my hand and hold on (Oh, oh, oh-woah, oh-woah)

Tell me everything that you need to say

'Cause I know how it feels to be someone

Feels to be someone who loses their way

If this weren't coming from one of the most famous pop stars on the planet, this video could be mistaken as a high-end offering from the team's official YouTube account.

Bieber has built strong, genuine friendships with the current version of the team, particularly with Matthews and Marner, often posting photos of his pals on Instagram, and this is the logical extension of that friendship. Hyping your boys up is a must in 2021, but it looks a little differently when you're one of the most recognizable people on Earth.

In the past few years, Bieber and his wife, supermodel Hailey Baldwin, have regularly attended Maple Leafs games, and the pop star has usurped Will Arnett as the club's most famous supporter.
