About the Speakers:
Chris Kemp is the Founder, Chairman, & CEO of Astra. As Founder, Chairman and CEO, Chris leads the overall company strategy and direction for Astra. Chris previously served as CTO of NASA and founded OpenStack, an open- source cloud computing infrastructure software project that is one of the three most active open-source projects in the world.
At NASA, Chris partnered with Google and Microsoft, helped create Google Moon and Mars (online maps that allow you to explore the planets) and worked with the White House to develop the cloud computing strategy for the US government. Chris advises and serves as a board member at various tech companies.
Kelyn Brannon is the CFO of Astra. She is a 35-year finance veteran, with experience leading companies through successful IPOs including Arista Networks and Calix. Kelyn was previously the CFO at Asure Software and the first chief accounting officer and head of finance at Amazon.com. She is a member of The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and holds a B.A in Political Science from Murray State University.
