Georgia (Roberts) and David (Clooney) are two estranged divorcees who bump into one another on the flight over to Bali, the setting for their daughter Lily's (Dever) wedding.

Both are sceptical about Lily's marriage to Gede (Maxime Bouttier), a man their daughter has just met whilst travelling around the paradisiacal Indonesian island.

Despite their differences, Georgia and David agree to team up to stop the wedding – After all, they don't want her repeating the same mistake they did 25 years ago...

Bravo appears as Georgia's younger, somewhat naive boyfriend Paul, with Lourd rounding out the cast as Wren, Lily's best friend and maid of honour.

Ticket to Paradise received a lukewarm Rotten Tomatoes rating of 56%, but favoured better with audiences, with it currently holding an audience score of 87%.

"It's the type of rom-com where you know exactly how it'll end as soon as the first act set-up is out of the way," wrote Digital Spy's movies editor Ian Sandwell in his review.

"The one throwback aspect of Ticket to Paradise that absolutely does work though is its lead pairing of George Clooney and Julia Roberts," he added of its leads.

"Their charisma and chemistry lifts the flat script, even if it doesn't really give them much more to do than bicker."

Ticket to Paradise is directed by Ol Parker of Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again fame, and produced by Notting Hill and Bridget Jones' Diary producers Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner.
