The Judds ‘Final Tour’ features date at Dickies Arena in October

After the recent death of Naomi Judd, of the mother-daughter country duo The Judds, a “Final Tour” will still be happening this fall and will feature a stop in Fort Worth.

Wynonna Judd will perform classic hits at Dickies Arena on Oct. 22 after seven shows in the Midwest and South. Country music star Martina McBride will join Wynonna Judd on stage to sing some of her songs.

“I am humbled, once again, by the loyalty of the fans who have been with us for 38+ years, who continue to show up for me when I need them the most. I am grateful that we will continue to honor The Judds legacy, together,” Wynonna Judd said in a press release.

In celebration of Naomi Judd, the tour will be “the Ultimate Girls Night Out,” featuring guest appearances from country music stars Brandi Carlile, Faith Hill, Little Big Town, Ashley McBryde, Trisha Yearwood and Martina McBride.

The 11-date tour will start in Michigan on September 30 and wrap up with a performance in Judd’s home-state of Kentucky on October 29.

“I am so happy that in this time of grief for us all, Wynonna has agreed to move forward with this tour as my sweet wife Naomi would have wanted her to do,” said Naomi Judd’s husband, Larry Strickland, in a press release.

Tickets for the Oct. 22 show at Dickies Arena are available through Ticketmaster.

Naomi Judd died by suicide on April 30, one day before she and Wynonna Judd were set to be inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame. “The Judds: The Final Tour” had been announced on April 11.
