Yahoo Movies Jourdan Dunn's backless dress is held together by a string
Last night the stars took to the stage to celebrate the 2022 MOBO Awards, and the red carpet was on fire. As celebs pulled up to the OVO Arena Wembley, we saw some amazing looks - like Jourdan Dunn's killer backless dress.
The supermodel presented the ‘Best Female Act’ award alongside Vogue editor Edward Enninful, and TikTok breakout star PinkPantheress accepted. Other artists honoured include Little Simz, Central Cee, and the late YouTube star Jamal Edwards.
On the night, Jourdan wore an incredible silk-satin maxi dress from Blumarine's spring/ summer 2023 collection. It's a plunging halter dress (as in, all the way down to the belly button), but the back of the dress is the real showstopper moment. The halter gown is held together only by three spaghetti strap cords, rendering the dress totally backless. See for yourself:
It showcased Dunn's tattoo collection perfectly - it is party dress season, after all. Is it just us, or is it a requirement for all red carpet dresses to be a bit...naked lately? From Khloé Kardashian's underboob dress to the many see-through dresses we've seen on the red carpet lately, this is a trend celebrities aren't leaving behind anytime soon.
The nude, taupe-y shade looked gorgeous with Dunn's earth-toned smokey eye makeup, and she finished the look with glittering bangles and a sultry updo. Perfection.
