Kentucky and head coach John Calipari are yet to land to a player from the NCAA transfer portal this offseason.

While the Kentucky men’s basketball season is only a week removed from ending, head coach John Calipari and members of the UK coaching staff are already back on the recruiting trail.

This past week alone, Kentucky watched class of 2025 center Alier Maluk play in the Pennsylvania state tournament, class of 2024 combo guard Boogie Fland play a postseason game in New York and class of 2024 center Flory Bidunga play in an Indiana high school state title game.

Calipari was joined by both Orlando Antigua and Bruiser Flint on Saturday night to watch Bidunga, along with an impressive roster of other high-major college coaches.

Michigan’s Juwan Howard, Michigan State’s Tom Izzo, Indiana’s Mike Woodson and Auburn’s Bruce Pearl were among those on hand to watch Bidunga play with his Kokomo High School team in the Indiana Class 4A state championship game.

Bidunga had 19 points, 11 rebounds and five blocks, but Kokomo came up short against Ben Davis High School, which finished the season with a perfect 33-0 record.

It’s only late March, and the NCAA Tournament is still underway, but Kentucky’s already visited plenty of prospects on its radar for future years.
