JINYA Ramen Bar’s second Charlotte location — near SouthPark Mall — is set to open April 3 with free ramen for a few customers who line up first at lunch and dinner.
The traditional Japanese restaurant will give away its signature specialty for the first 50 diners who come in the door when it opens at 11 a.m., and again for the first 50 diners who line up at 5 p.m.
Another bonus? Its secret menu ramen, the Cha Cha Cha — featuring pork with garlic and bean sprouts in pork broth — will be available from April 3-17 to celebrate the opening.
“As we get ready to open our second restaurant in Charlotte, we are excited to spread traditional Japanese flavor in a city that has a well-deserved reputation for culinary excellence,” JINYA founder and CEO Tomo Takahashi said.
Diners will find a menu that also features small plates such as gyoza, tempura Brussels sprouts and shrimp, pork spare ribs and edamame.
JINYA opened its first North Carolina location at Ally Charlotte Center in 2021.
