Jennifer Lopez is in campaign mode ahead of awards season.
The 50-year-old triple threat has been making the rounds to promote her latest film “Hustlers” co-starring Constance Wu, Keke Palmer and Lili Reinhart. Since the film’s premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in September, many industry insiders have pegged Lopez’s portrayal of a scheming exotic dancer the star’s ticket to her first Oscar nomination.
“It just shows you that dreams come true,” Lopez told PEOPLE magazine of her whirlwind year and possible Oscar nomination. “But you have to work at it and not give up. The key is the not giving up part. For me, it’s not a choice. You can’t stop.”
Although nominations have yet to be announced, Lopez is in the middle of another press tour for the film to secure a spot at both the Golden Globe and Academy Awards. Lopez walked the red carpet at the 2019 Independent Filmmaker Project Gotham Awards alongside the “Hustlers” cast, and is set to host “Saturday Night Live” on Dec. 7.
Lopez, a multitasking mogul, is managing to work her latest gig as the new face of Coach into her busy schedule. The “On the Floor” singer has been sporting the brand head-to-toe during her blitz around New York City, trading in her more expensive designer threads for more affordable pieces.
On Dec. 3, Lopez and fiancé Alex Rodriguez stepped out for dinner with the “SNL” cast at Lattanzi Ristorante. The star wore a black Day Dress ($375) , a tartan plaid Wool Coat with Leather Detail ($700) and carried the Willis Top Handle bag ($595) from The Coach Originals collection, designed to celebrate the brand’s original structured design from the 1990s.
