Jennifer Lawrence Wears a Yellow Dress and Olive Trench to Attend Courthouse Wedding

Jennifer Lawrence continued her NYC fashion streak while supporting her friend's special day.

Yesterday, the No Hard Feelings actor was spotted while arriving at a downtown NYC courthouse, where she attended the wedding of an unnamed friend. Though she stayed low-key for the event, the Oscar winner took a moment to wave at the photographers who captured her summery ensemble.

Her look was comprised of a classic olive green trench coat, which she layered over a semi-sheer yellow dress with a high neckline, a fitted midi-length bodice, and long sleeves that peeked out from under the jacket. She added nude peep-toe heels and a pair of large square sunglasses, while wearing her blonde hair loose in subtle waves.

The sweet appearance came after a busy week for the star, who filmed two commercials filled with stylish looks. The star channeled quiet luxury with her on-duty outfits, which included a layered head-to-toe ensemble from The Row, a luxe, structured minidress made of suit fabric, and a sophisticated black midi-length gown with a fully backless silhouette.

While Lawrence has stayed mostly private about her life with husband Cooke Maroney and their baby son, Cy, the actress recently shared her reaction to her then-boyfriend's proposal during an appearance on Amelia Dimoldenberg's YouTube series Chicken Shop Date, describing the moment as, "Terrifying, but very, very exciting."

"I didn't say what I wanted to. I imagined it a million times, and then I ended up just going, 'What? What? What?' And then going, 'Thank you, thank you, thank you.'"
