Jennifer Lawrence has landed her next lead movie role in an adaptation of graphic novel Why Don’t You Love Me?.

The Oscar-winner is being lined-up to star in and produce the A24 movie, which is based on the 2023 source material by Paul B Rainey.

The story focuses on a couple who struggle through their marriage, while at the same time feeling that their reality is not quite as it seems.

Why Don’t You Love Me? will be written by Robert Funke, while Beau Is Afraid's Ari Aster is among the producers.

The news comes after Lawrence was confirmed for Apple TV+'s The Wives, described as a murder mystery inspired by Real Housewives.

Like Why Don't You Love Me?, Lawrence will also produce, with Michael Breslin and Patrick Foley set to write the screenplay.
