Bullock and Aniston’s friendship goes back a number of years, originating from something of a shared interest.
Bullock interviewed Aniston for a cover feature for the March edition of Interview Magazine.
The candid and hilarious piece saw the pair explaining how they were first introduced by actor Tate Donovan, who Bullock and Aniston both dated.
Remembering meeting for the first time Bullock said: “We were introduced by our former boyfriend. I say ‘our’ because you and I both partook of this one human being.”
Aniston responded: “Yes, we did. That’s a beautiful way of saying it.”
Talking of Donovan in the interview, Aniston said: "He seems to have a type," to which Bullock joked: "Talented. Funny. Kind. Introspective. Generous.”
The interview also sees Bullock reminiscing about her first impression of Aniston.
She said: “Like almost everyone’s first impression of you, it was on the television. I remember the first thing I thought of you was, ‘A beautiful woman who has extraordinary timing is almost impossible to find.’
“You allowed yourself to look foolish, heartbroken, clumsy, like an idiot. I think that’s why everyone feels so comfortable in your presence.”
