Yahoo Movies Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams is opening another Charlotte location — with free scoops
Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams is already a Charlotte staple, and now it’s about to satisfy the South Charlotte area with the opening of its new shop in Blakeney Town Center, just south of Ballantyne.
But here’s the big news — you can get free scoops of ice cream all night long at the grand opening in January. Here’s what you need to know:
When: Thursday, Jan. 12 from 7-11 p.m.
Where: 9828 Rea Road, Charlotte, NC 28277
What: Free ice cream to celebrate the newest Jeni’s location in Charlotte, plus the first 50 people in line will get swag bags, filled with extra goodies.
At the event, you’ll find the classic Jeni’s flavors, including Brambleberry Crisp and Salty Caramel. Look for seasonal flavors, too, such as Blackout Chocolate Cake and Goat Cheese with Red Cherries.
