The Golden Globes looked a lot different this year — and so did some celebs.

Sunday's awards show, which went virtual in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, saw many stars get dolled up from the safety of their homes, despite the absence of a proper red carpet.

Other celebrities, however, decided to rock casual attire, embracing pandemic fashion standards that many people working from home could likely relate to.

And, of course, Twitter had lots of commentary about it.

From John Boyega's track pants to Jeff Daniels' dad flannel and Jodie Foster's pajamas, here are the best casual looks at this year's pandemic Golden Globes.

Jason Sudeikis rocks a tie-dye hoodie

Jason Sudeikis, who won best actor in a TV comedy or musical, took home a trophy while in a tie-dye hoodie.

Comedian Anna Roisman gave props to Sudeikis for a Golden Globes first.

"huge congrats to Jason Sudeikis not only for winning but for making history tonight as the first person ever to accept an award in a tie dye hoodie," she tweeted.

The hoodie even earned a quip from co-host Tina Fey later in the broadcast.

"If anybody wants to know where they can get Jason Sudeikis' hoodie, go to NBC.com/globesfashion," she said.

Backstage in the virtual press room, Sudeikis said he wore the hoodie to support FORWARD_Space, his sister Kristin's dance company.

“I think you have to look back to Audrey Hepburn for 'Funny Face.' She also wore a hoodie. No, that’s not true," he said. "I believe when people that you care about do cool and interesting things you should support them. This is no different than that. I have a multitude of hoodies I could have worn for a multitude of things, but this one seemed the most appropriate."

Jeff Daniels serves 'Dad just Zooming' vibes

Daniels didn't take home the award for best actor in a limited series or TV movie, which went to Mark Ruffalo – but he did capture the attention of Twitter for his casual attire.

In contrast to the tuxedos that characterized the night, Daniels looked calm, cool and collected in a flannel button-down shirt, while appearing virtually alongside his fellow nominees.

"I respect that Jeff Daniels literally just got up from dinner and fired up the zoom and is gonna go back to eat now," wrote Jenny Han, author of the "To All the Boys" book series.

Georgetown University professor Don Moynihan gave Daniels props for "showing the appropriate level of indifference for an online awards show."

"jeff daniels broadcasting live from 'the computer room' " wrote @mattbooshell.

One Twitter user imagined what Golden Globes night might look like at the Daniels household.

"I bet Jeff Daniels didn’t even tell his wife that he’s nominated," wrote @TheOnlyCritic. " 'Where you going?' 'Gotta Zoom meeting for work real quick be back in ten' "

"You have to appreciate Jeff Daniels and his 'Dad just Zooming in the spare room' vibe," wrote meteorologist Tyler Roney.

John Boyega claims award in track pants

From the waist up, Boyega was award-show ready. His lower half, however, was a different story.

During his acceptance speech for best supporting TV actor, Boyega revealed he was wearing track pants, despite rocking a white tux on his upper half.

One Twitter user pointed how Boyega's strategy of business-on-top, comfort-on-bottom is something many people have adopted in quarantine.

"John Boyega with his track pants on bottom and suit jacket on top is all of us working from home during the pandemic," @itsme_shawna wrote.

Jodie Foster accepts award in pajamas

Foster, who won best supporting actress in a motion picture, accepted her award while also looking ready for bed. She and her wife Alexandra Hedison wore pajamas on the couch with their dog.

"I'm a little speechless," Foster admitted after her win. "I just never expected to be here again."

"Jodie Foster and her wife appear to both be wearing pajamas and that would be a breathtaking power move even without the dog in the frame," wrote writer Andi Zeisler.
