How This Jaipur-Based Entrepreneur Encourages Women To Be Financially Independent

Arushi Agarwal is the owner of her brand Sarathyfab. Agarwal, who used to be dependent on her husband for all her financial needs, decided to be financially independent with her own start-up Sarathyfab after the demise of her husband.

She soon shifted to Jaipur from Mumbai and started her own label of comfort clothing. The brand offers a wide range of hand-block printed products. It recently launched a loungewear range and offers customization.

Today, Sarathyfab steers its ecosystem of women to be financially independent. It provides the raw materials, so that they can get the products stitched and deliver them on their own.

Sarathyfab is backed by Her&Now, an initiative that empowers women entrepreneurs, implemented by GIZ, on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation in partnership with the government of India’s Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MoSDE).
