Issa Rae shares wedding photos with hilarious post about 'somebody's husband'

Congratulations are in order for Issa Rae!

The "Insecure" star, who is relatively mum about her love life, took to Instagram Monday to share that she tied the knot with longtime boyfriend, Louis Diame. Rae chose a custom Vera Wang gown for her wedding in the South of France on Sunday, according to a press release from the fashion designer.

And even Rae's own wedding didn't stop her from cracking jokes. The actress captioned the stunning photos on Instagram with humor:

"A) Impromptu photo shoot in a custom @verawanggang dress.

B) My girls came to help me, but they all coincidentally had on the same dress! They were sooooo embarrassed.

C) Then I took a few flicks with Somebody’s Husband."

'Stay true to your story': Issa Rae on 'Insecure' success and scrutiny

Vera Wang, who designed Rae's wedding dress, congratulated the pair on Instagram.

"You look ethereal! Wishing you and Louis continued happiness and joy in your new life together," Wang captioned her post.

Other celebrities including La La Anthony and Tracee Ellis Ross took to the comments to share their support.

"Congratulations…u look so beautiful ❤️wishing you a lifetime of happiness," Anthony wrote.

Ross and Joan Smalls both commented a series of heart emojis, while "Ted Lasso" star Ashley Nicole Black made light of Rae's funny caption.

"You’re always stunning, but that picture of you with that lady’s husband has the most glow. Congrats!" she wrote.

Speculations about Rae's engagement started in March 2019 when she was spotted wearing what seemed to be an engagement ring in an Essence magazine cover. Her "Insecure" co-stars Jay Ellis and Yvonne Orji seemingly confirmed the news that same month.

"We all found out in different ways because we’re all on different text chains. We talk at different times, so we all found out at different times in different ways," Ellis told Entertainment Tonight at the time.

Orji added, "The reaction was all the same, like, ‘You out here in these streets getting married, boo?!’ That was the reaction."

Rae dodged the rumors during an appearance on "The View" in April 2019. When host Sunny Hostin pointed out the ring on her finger, Rae joked "I got a lot of rings on my finger."
