Is This Suicide Squad Member The Villain?

The release of ‘Suicide Squad’s’ trailer earlier this summer proved just how much anticipation there is for their villainous antics.

But with production on the superhero film now complete, and with people having spent weeks scrawling through the footage to learn more about its plot, we’re still not entirely sure why the ‘Suicide Squad’ actually come together.

Well, that might be about to change. Those of you who don’t want ‘Suicide Squad’ potentially ruined for them probably shouldn’t read ahead, just in case this rumour proves to be true.

Are they gone? Good, because the rumour from Heroic Hollywood, via Comic Book Movie, has alleged that the villain of ‘Suicide Squad’ will actually be The Enchantress, who is being played Cara Delevingne.

Of course, the thing is with the ‘Suicide Squad’ is that they’re all villains. But there has to be one person whose villainous antics forces the government and Amanda Waller to bring the team together. And Heroic Hollywood’s sources have informed them that The Enchantress’ pursuit of her dead brother is what does just that.

What does The Enchantress want with the corpse of her sibling? Well, she wants to resurrect him, silly. Then once she’s done just that she plans on destroying the world. As you do.

There is some credence to this rumour too. The Enchantress isn’t in the full line-up shot of the ‘Suicide Squad’ during the trailer, while she in fact spends most of the clip by herself getting up to some rather peculiar stuff.

This includes sitting in a hideously dirty bathtub while upset, traveling down into a cavern, and then standing and staring in a dark and dingy room in a manner that can only be compared to a ghoul.

It would also tie into the character’s comic book history too, as she gathers her powers after meeting a magical being in a secret chamber, which gives her the power to turn into the Enchantress, an evil entity, which she can’t control.

We’ll learn if The Enchantress really is ‘Suicide Squad’s’ villain when the blockbuster is released on August 7, 2016.
