Iowa traces tribute to children's hospital wave in snow at Kinnick Stadium

The wave to children at Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital hasn’t stopped just because it’s no longer football season.

Workers at Iowa’s Kinnick Stadium traced the outline of a giant hand in the snow on the football field Thursday. How cool is that?

The wave became the best tradition in college football in 2017. A Press Box Cafe was added to the top of the hospital next to the stadium before the season to allow patients and their families to view Iowa football games. So at the end of the first quarter of every home game, Iowa fans began turning to the hospital and giving everyone a wave.

Ohio State coach Urban Meyer even got in on the act when Ohio State was playing at Iowa this season. His wave is probably the highlight of the game for Buckeye fans.
