UPDATE: The Iconic Air Jordan 3 "Black/Cement" Gets a Gilded Makeover as a Women's Exclusive

UPDATE (August 8, 2022): Official images of the women's Air Jordan 3 "Black Gold" have just launched, giving fans a closer look at Fall 2022 drop.

The shoe carries the DNA of the Air Jordan 3 "Black/Cement" — one of the best Air Jordans of all time. The classic is updated with metallic gold elements and will launch October 6 for $200 USD.

ORIGINAL POST (May 31, 2022): Few Air Jordans are as beloved as the Air Jordan 3 "Black/Cement." Made famous during the 1988 NBA All-Star Game, Michael Jordan historically wore the shoe as he scored 40 points, eight rebounds, three assists and four steals.

Fans of the silhouette may remember the "Black/Cement" as the favorite sneaker of Vashtie Kola during the Tumblr era, with the creative receiving a cake in the shape of the sneaker back in 2009 from her pal Kid Cudi.

As Spring 2023 Jordan Brand women's releases begin to trickle onto social media, @solebyjc offers a preview of a forthcoming AJ3 women's exclusive. The model implements an upper nearly identical to its predecessor with a black tumbled leather base accented by gray elephant print overlays.

The sneaker's update comes by way of metallic gold accents at the eyestays. The hue also appears to carry on to the shoe's heel and tongue branding.
