Hungover Rylan Clark begs for help after finding a snake in his home

Rylan Clark desperately appealed to his followers for help after coming face-to-face with a snake in his house while hungover at the weekend.

Taking to Instagram, the terrified TV and radio presenter, 33, shared a video of himself trying to usher the unwelcome house visitor out of his Essex home with little success.

“There is a f****** snake in my house. What do you do? What do you do?” he shouted.

“Can someone please tell me what do you do, because this is why you shouldn’t live alone?” the former X Factor finalist continued. “I don’t know what to do. There is a snake in my house, I repeat, there is a snake in my house and I think I’m gonna die.”

Pondering if he could “put it in an envelope,” that idea soon went out the window when the reptile began to move around causing the celebrity to freak out further.

“I tried to touch it and now it’s moving, it’s moving, someone send help!”, he pleaded.

“If I’m not here tomorrow, then thank you, Jesus, for everything,” he then half-joked.

“I’m not in a good way, I’ve been Googling can you get killed by them. Why is this happening? Why is there a snake in my house? Is that normal?

“What if there’s, like, the mum or the dad snake, is it real? Can they climb stairs?”

He added: “I knew there were a few snakes in Brentwood but I didn’t realise there was actual snakes. You just don’t need this on a hangover.”

“BREATHE. its a grass snake. it’s non venomous. it just wants to get out, so open the door,” one knowledgable follower tried to reassure him. “I know it’s weird but I promise it is more scared of u! it won’t hurt you.”

While not overly useful in the moment, others saw potential career opportunities for this.

“The next David Attenborough right there,” declared one.

“You’d be gold on I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here,” wrote another, tagging I’m A Celeb, Ant and Dec, plus, ITV’s Instagram handles to make sure Clark was on their radar.
