If your winter plans include binge watching holiday movies and TV shows, you need to check out Hulu’s Black Friday deal. The streaming service is offering new subscribers a deal of $1.99 a month for 12 months.

After the year of discounted service, you’ll be charged the regular price of $5.99 per month. Still, that’s saving you nearly $50 in your first year of streaming.

Hulu is a great cable alternative, and especially nice if you like to watch TV shows over movies, although it has those too. The streaming service offers TV shows from major networks including Chicago Fire, The Bachelorette and Bravo’s Real Housewives franchises. Generally, TV shows are added to the streaming platform the morning after they air live on cable.

However, Hulu also has a long list of original shows and movies like Reese Witherspoon and Kerry Washington’s Little Fires Everywhere and the Emmy-nominated Normal People.

Keep in mind, Hulu’s Black Friday deal is specifically on its most popular, ad-supported plan. Yes, there are commercials, but not that many, compared to regular cable. But if you seriously hate ads, you can subscribe to the Hulu (No Ads) plan for $11.99 per month, and get your first month free.

If you don’t have cable and kind of wish you do, you can also check out the Hulu + Live TV plan for $54.99 a month (and get your first month free). It includes 60-plus live channels and unlimited access to Hulu’s ad-supported streaming library with on-demand TV shows and movies. This way, you don’t have to wait until the next day to catch your favorite primetime shows.

And, that’s not all. Hulu is also offered in a bundle deal with Disney Plus and ESPN Plus for $12.99 a month if you like to watch sports and Disney movies as well.

There are a lot of ways to save on streaming Hulu, but none are better than the $1.99 deal. Get it before the deal ends on Nov. 30 and get your watchlist and popcorn ready.
