Honda recalls more than 330,000 vehicles because of mirror flaw that could increase crash risk

Honda is recalling more than 330,000 vehicles because heating pads behind both side-view mirrors may not be bonded properly, which could lead to the mirror glass falling out and increasing the risk of a crash.

No crashes or injuries have been reported in connection to the recall announced by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

The agency said the recalled vehicles don't comply with rear visibility requirements.

What models were recalled?

Vehicles in the recall:

• 2020-2022 Odyssey

• 2020-2022 Passport

• 2020-2021 Pilot

• 2020-2021 Ridgeline

Number of vehicles: 330,318.

A free fix

Honda dealers will replace the side-view mirrors free of charge.

Owner notification letters are expected to be sent out on May 8.
