‘Work From Home Plate’ is back during the Charlotte Knights off season. How it works.

Getting tired of your home office, with the view into your neighbor’s backyard showing the same squirrels chasing each other up the same trees, day in and day out? The Charlotte Knights have got you covered — and you won’t even have to lie to your boss about being at the office when you’re actually at the ballpark.

Truist Field’s “Work from Home Plate” is your chance to rent a luxury suite at the ball field for the workday or work week. The Knights launched the initiative last year as a way to offset any work-from-home boredom during the COVID-19 pandemic. Rentals were paused for baseball season — and they start back up on Monday, Nov. 1.

Here’s how it works:

PRICE:

  • A private suite holds up to four people and costs $120 per day and $500 per week.

  • Larger suites hold 5-8 people and are $200 per day.

WHAT YOU GET:

LUNCH BREAK:

  • Food and drinks (hot and cold) are available for purchase.

  • If you want to bring in your own food or have food delivered, there’s a $10/person fee.

HOW TO BOOK:

ALSO NOTE:

  • Parking is not included.

  • Restrooms are a short walk from the suites.
