"Bloody government, they'll do anything to overshadow my last episode on Hollyoaks. Goodbye and thanks for all the fish," he jokingly tweeted.

The latest preview episode saw Misbah attending a workplace tribunal at Dee Valley Hospital for Ali ,to share how his abusive behaviour changed her life forever.

Ali had an outburst during the tribunal sessions, as he angrily hurled some horrific insults at Misbah in front of everyone. Misbah was subsequently assured she wouldn't be seeing Ali at the hospital again.

Former EastEnders star Raji joined Hollyoaks last summer as Shaq's long-lost father. It was later revealed that Ali had raped Misbah when she trained to be a doctor.

While Ali escaped justice in the courtroom, Tuesday's first-look episode finally saw him face the consequences when his evil acts were exposed in front of his colleagues.

Hollyoaks now streams first on All 4, with new episodes dropping each weekday morning. The show airs Mondays to Fridays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, and at 7pm on E4. Selected omnibus episodes are available via Amazon Prime Video.
