Yahoo Movies Hollyoaks' Misbah tells new lie over Shaq father

Misbah Maalik will tell a shocking new lie about Shaq Qureshi's father in Hollyoaks.
Misbah recently confessed to being Shaq's mum rather than his auntie, but Shaq doesn't know yet that his father is the hospital's newest hire Raji James.
Next week, Imran actually offers to help Shaq in his search to find out his father's identity when he keeps hitting dead-ends.
They go so far as to reach out to Misbah's old roommate from the time she was pregnant, but Misbah intercepts them by meeting with Shaq first.
A frustrated Shaq turns to Sami to ask him to prepare a subpoena he can use against Misbah, but his cousin explains that isn't how the legal system actually works. If it were, Sami wouldn't help.
Shaq is left turning to Verity about all of his worries, and she agrees to step up and help him find answers.
It is actually Yazz who seemingly gets a lead when she asks Misbah about Shaq's father. Misbah surprisingly gives her some information about where to find him.
When The Dog has a ladies' night later in the week, a bit of information from Cleo tips off Verity that Ali might actually be Shaq's father.
As Verity consoles Shaq over the news, Yazz is furious to find out and confronts Misbah for continuing to lie about the family secret.
Later, Verity and Shaq come across Misbah arguing with Ali about their working relationship, leading Misbah to pacify Shaq by finally talking to him about his heritage.
While the two seemingly have a heart-to-heart, Shaq later finds out some new information that causes him to confront Misbah once again.
Shaq gets in more trouble when Sami discovers his cousin stayed with Verity the previous night. Shaq is able to convince Sami that nothing happened, so Sami offers his support over Shaq's search.
Meanwhile, Misbah tries to explain herself to Yazz without revealing why she'd lied. Yet, it's not long before the truth actually comes to light!
Hollyoaks airs new episodes from Mondays to Fridays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first-look screenings at 7pm on E4. Selected omnibus episodes are available via Amazon Prime Video.
