Yahoo Movies Hollyoaks' George continues to abuse John Paul

George Kiss has continued to abuse boyfriend John Paul McQueen in the soap's coercive control storyline.
The sinister PC has made others in the village believe that John Paul (James Sutton) had been abusing him, when in reality, he'd been the one emotionally and physically abusing his partner.
In his latest manipulation, George (Callum Kerr) had John Paul arrested after leading Peri (Ruby O'Donnell) to believe that there had been a domestic violence incident in the home.
While John Paul was being interrogated in a jail cell, Sally (Annie Wallace) was horrified to hear John Paul not outright defending his partner during a conversation with DS Cohen (Ariana Fraval).
George did eventually get John Paul out of jail, but Sally had to share more bad news that he'd lost his chance at the headteacher job because she'd accidentally told the interviewers about his arrest.
Sally later shared her suspicions with John Paul that George might not be as innocent he seems, insinuating that Peri had been misled by the PC at the hospital.
"I don't think he's quite the hero he's making himself out to be," she warned.
John Paul later confronted George about what he'd heard from Sally, but the PC was evasive. As George went to leave, he insisted John Paul was the one being aggressive by raising his voice.
John Paul then tried to make amends by reaching for his boyfriend's arm, but George turned back around and punched him in the face. A horrified John Paul tried to process what had happened as the episode closed.
Sadly, James Sutton recently confirmed to Digital Spy that this incident will not actually be a turning point for John Paul to realise that George is an abuser.
"John Paul just refuses to believe that this is happening and that George can be in any way guilty of betraying him, breaking his trust or worse," he said.
"That's been fun for all of us to play – those guys trying to convince John Paul and make him believe, and that frustration.
"I've been able to play quite a confused guy a lot of the time, but equally a guy in love – and that overriding his instincts and the words of his nearest and dearest."
Hollyoaks currently airs new episodes from Mondays to Thursdays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first look screenings at 7pm on E4.
