Hollyoaks details Nancy's exit story as she makes life-changing decision

Hollyoaks has aired a big twist in Nancy Osborne's exit storyline as she made a big decision.

Following on from the revelation that Morgan has circulatory problems and the decision to have her undergo surgery, Wednesday's (March 22) E4 episode opened up the next morning, with Darren trying to call her and not getting through.

Going to hospital, Darren met up with Nancy and the two had a frosty conversation, with Nancy telling her husband that he should have pushed for more tests to be done with the GP said two weeks ago that Morgan probably just had a bug.

When Darren tried to relate the current scenario to DJ's spina bifida, Nancy cruelly referred to him as "the affair baby" and told Darren to leave before she said something worse.

As the two argued over whether Nancy spent too much at the school, Jack and Charlie turned up, and things calmed down.

"I let things get on top of me. You shouldn't have been the one to notice Morgan was ill," she told Charlie, and the family walked in to support Morgan together.

The couple had a further heart-to-heart and promised to be there for each other more, and that they had to think positive thoughts about Morgan's surgery.

They were then told that there's a doctor who's a specialist in the field and would be able to successfully deal with Morgan's condition... the only issue is that he's working for a year out in Michigan.

Instantly, Nancy said they'd will fly out tomorrow and asked for the doctor to be notified. Darren asked if they'll even be able to afford the trip, to which Nancy told him she'd do whatever it takes to get Morgan better.

As Hollyoaks fans will know, Nancy actress Jessica Fox is leaving the show for maternity leave. She welcomed a son named River earlier this month with her husband Nicholas Willes.

Hollyoaks streams first on All 4, with new episodes dropping each weekday morning. The show airs Mondays to Fridays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, and at 7pm on E4.

Selected omnibus episodes are available via Prime Video.
