In Wednesday's (September 22) first-look episode on E4, Romeo tried to stress to Cher that she truly needed to open up to the hospital'a mental health team for her own safety.

However, Cher was still heartbroken over their split, telling Romeo to "get lost" and carry a message to Sylver and Mercedes that she didn't want to see them either.

Romeo caught up with Mercedes and Sylver outside the hospital. While Romeo was distraught over how he'd treated Cher, Mercedes insisted nobody was to blame for what happened.

Sylver was still reluctant to visit Cher, so Mercedes pressed on alone. The two finally had a heart-to-heart about how Cher was feeling before her attempt to take her life.

"I was frightened. I wanted the pain to stop, but I'm so grateful to be here," Cher explained, with Mercedes assuring her: "Me too. Despite what you think, Cher, I do love you. I've never been your enemy."

Mercy then promised: "You're my daughter, and we've all got you now."

However, after Mercedes admitted Sylver was still having trouble forgiving Cher, the teen slipped away while Mercy was on the phone with the school about an emergency with Bobby.

Cher headed to catch a bus out of the village, but Sylver arrived just in time to let her know he wanted a second chance.

"I am going to be a better dad, the dad that you need me to be," Sylver vowed.

Cher then confessed it was her online friend Jade who'd given her the idea about poisoning The Dog's punch, but now Jade was ghosting her.

Sylver took Cher back to The Dog, where she was warmly greeted by Bobby. Mercedes confided in Sylver that she had to pick Bobby up from school early because he'd been crying and wouldn't explain why.

Cher called Jade to tell her to "do one"... and Bobby's phone started ringing in front of everybody. A guilty Bobby then confessed that he was Jade to his stunned family!
