Hollyoaks spoilers follow.
After DeMarcus' recent attack, Felix has wanted nothing more than to keep his family safe and in one place.
However, he has been struggling to keep the anger at bay after DeMarcus said he planned to move to America with his mother.
In tonight's first-look episode (May 26) Felix stormed over to Warren's, convinced that Warren's candid talk with DeMarcus pushed him even more towards a US move.
Warren and Felix almost came to blows, with Felix raging and demanding to know where his son had got to.
However, the confrontation eventually forced Felix to open up as Warren tried to get Felix to see things from his son's point of view.
In their honest exchange, Warren told Felix: "Go and find DeMarcus. Tell him to have the time of his life, be there for him when he needs you, and build a life with Mercedes."
Felix managed to get his temper under control, and back at home he apologised to Mercedes for having previously taken out his mood on her.
Admitting that he "took his insecurities" out on his partner, he said: "I am going to step up and be the best dad I can be and the best partner I can be."
During this tender moment, DeMarcus arrived home, to which Felix proclaimed that he was his "top priority".
However, DeMarcus was less than receptive to his apology and left the room. Has the damage already been done?
