Knowing Cameron posed a worrying threat, Henrik has been desperately trying to protect the hospital at all costs but was unable to outsmart Cameron's killer plan.

Brave as ever, Henrik risked his own life to protect his colloeagues as he vowed to evacuate everyone from the danger of the wards, only to find himself at the centre of the explosion when the bomb went off. Cameron is fast proving himself to be one of the biggest villains of all time, but could this finally be his swansong?

Not content with the damage he's already done, Cameron laid more devastation on his long-suffering colleagues tonight and has left several lives in the balance as a result.

Cameron was forthcoming about his sinister plan to die and not go back to prison, but fans should expect a few more final twists before this story wraps up...

She's the cat with nine lives, but could it be that Bernie's luck has finally run out tonight? Chilling scenes saw Bernie seemingly accept her fate, refusing to abandon her son at the eleventh hour.

Despite all that has been and done, Bernie opted to remain by Cameron's side in the moments before the bomb he'd planted went off, even sending a heartbreaking final message to her lover Serena.

We can reveal that Bernie's stint was always intended to be a brief one, but will she be leaving in a coffin or a cab?

4. Lucky Simpson

Amid all the Cameron chaos, Lucky finally cracked the code to Jeni's dark behaviour, placing herself in fatal danger in the process.

Following a tip-off from a traumatised Evie, Lucky stumbled across the incriminating evidence in Jeni's office drawer. As a result, Lucky was finally given an insight into Jeni's seedy world, but seemingly underestimated the power of her calculated colleague.

That's because, upon learning that her secret had been exposed, Jeni brutally attacked Lucky, leaving her for dead. Is it game over for Lucky or will someone find her in time?

5. Ange Godard

Digital Spy can confirm that next week is indeed Chloe's final episode, as Amy Lennox has bowed out of the role, but will she meet a tragic end?
