Hilary Duff Paired Her See-Through, Polka-Dot Blouse With a Black Bra

If there's anyone who can cross the threshold of cutesy and sexy, it's Hilary Duff. And her latest outfit is proving you don't have to choose between the two when getting dressed.

On Thursday, the actress posted a gallery of glam shots to her Instagram wearing a sheer black and white, polka-dot shirt that allowed her black bra to peek through underneath. The blouse was tucked into fringy bottoms. Duff accessorized with several silver earrings up her lobe, including a stunning diamond drop in her first piercing and matching hoops in the second.

Her signature blonde tresses were styled in a deep part that cascaded into gentle waves, and both her eyes and lips were played up in peachy tones. In the last slot of the carousel, the former pop star burst into a sing-along of "We Don't Talk About Bruno," from the new smash hit Disney movie Encanto.

Hilary was seemingly all dressed up for press to promote her new Hulu show How I Met Your Father, the sequel to the hit sitcom How I Met Your Mother. Hilary spoke to Cosmopolitan about the show that premiered earlier this week, saying she was drawn to her character Sophie because of her positivity.

"She's very much not a whole person yet," she told the publication. "That's why she hasn't found her person because she's got some figuring out to do. But she just keeps trying, and I love that. It's hard to keep trying, especially in the world of love. She very much doesn't have her life sorted out, but she has self-worth, and she wouldn't settle for something bad."
