We first heard rumblings of a romance between them in January 2017 after they connected on the set of the biblical movie. (She plays the saint; he plays Jesus.) The couple, who previously worked together in the film Her, have been official since the Cannes Film Festival last May. They attended the closing-night ceremony together (he wore his black Cons), and they embraced when he went up to collect his Best Actor award for You Were Never Really Here. In an interview with the New York Times in September, Phoenix revealed that he and Mara live together in the Hollywood Hills.
