This insane car shows extreme prowess to be a breakthrough creation in the automotive community.

Hoonigan has made a ridiculous reputation for themselves for being a group of insane wrenchers with a passion for all things automotive and a flair for the flamboyant. This has come from over a decade of winning races and building some of the world's most fabulous vehicular creations. The Hoonicorn is one car that might come to mind when you initially think of the brand, which has become synonymous with Ken Block and the various facets of racing and automotive fun. However, there is so much more to the Hoonigan lineup than the 1,400 hp Mustang as the team specializes in building and racing cars of all types.

Check out the Rolls-Royce rollcage build here.

This particular car is a stunning 1978 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow that had previously lived as a party car for the ultra-rich of the 1970s. However, posh luxury sedans are not precisely the Hoonigan style as the brand mainly dabbles in high-performance powerhouses with lightweight chassis. So to combat the higher weight and slightly bland exterior styling, these crazy men have decided to drop a massive Hellcat engine under the hood. While this isn't the first time we have talked about this individual build, it certainly is fascinating as the team has just made a big step toward making this dream project a reality.

Finally, the insanely powerful Hellcat engine is ready to start, and after some wiring and ECU tinkering, the motor starts right up. As the engine roars to life, the faces of each team member light up with glee as the car reveals the potential that it holds within that gigantic engine bay. Some things still need to be worked out with the cooling system, and the interior does not currently feature a steering wheel. However, this is a significant step towards building something that most people would consider ridiculous in a very good way.
