Clean up efforts continued in northeastern New South Wales on Thursday, October 21, after the Coffs Harbour area was battered by heavy hail during a supercell on Wednesday.
This footage by William Watkins shows hail blanketing his home’s lawn in Toormina.
New South Wales’ State Emergency Service (SES) said it had received as many as 800 requests for assistance related to the supercell.
“NSW SES have local and out of area crews as well as partner agencies on the ground working in the community with the clean-up from yesterday’s storm ahead of more possible storms,” the service said. Credit: William Watkins via Storyful
