Heavy Damage Seen Around Indonesian Football Stadium After Deadly Violence

Nearly 200 people were killed, and dozens more injured, in violence and chaos that erupted following a football match at Kanjuruhan Stadium in Malang, Indonesia, on Saturday, October 1, local media reported officials as saying.

Video posted to Instagram on Sunday showed debris and damaged vehicles along the street outside the stadium the morning after the violence.

As of Sunday morning, 182 people were confirmed dead, local media reported the health ministry as saying.
