Healthcare Organizations Rally Together to Help Highland Park Shooting Survivor
Elevate Care calls on area healthcare partners to make $5,000 matching donations
SKOKIE, Ill., July 07, 2022--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Healthcare operators and partners across Chicagoland are coming together to help Aiden McCarthy, a 2-year-old boy who lost both of his parents in the Highland Park 4th of July parade shooting. Using #HealthcarePartnersforHighlandPark, Elevate Care started this movement feeling the desire to do something to help.
"This is our community and our people," Meir Meystel, CEO of Elevate Care says. "Let’s come together to help make a difference in this little boy’s life."
A father himself, Meir and his wife, Eli, feel an innate desire to help. "All of our hearts are just broken for Aiden and we know making a donation doesn’t change anything," the Meystels say, "but at least he’ll grow up knowing that we’re all here for him."
