Harrison Ford Shares Views On Han Solo Spin-Off

Over the years we’ve had mixed signals from everyone’s favourite ‘Star Wars’ rogue Harrsion Ford about whether he loves or loathes the franchise (we reckon a bit of both), but what does he think about the upcoming spin-off Han Solo movie?

Speaking recently about the project that’ll see his icon character recast, Ford didn’t hold back from the grumpy, snappy responses we’re oh so used to.

And an interviewer made the mistake of asking him what his contribution is.

“I’m sure whoever is responsible for that film, and I’m not, will think through the issues and problems of doing such a thing,” Ford said, making clear he has absolutely nothing to do with it and therefore probably doesn’t wish to comment on it ever again.

“Let’s make them responsible for those questions you might think to ask me [about the Han Solo movie] because I’m not involved.” Well, that answers that.

When previously asked if he was about to give the new Solo actor any advice on playing the character, he was quick to shut them down with: “No I’m not going to do that.”

It’s obvious that whoever does fill the role of Chewbacca’s smuggler buddy has a pretty daunting task ahead. Arguably Han Solo is one of the top few most iconic film characters in history, so it’ll take some pretty big and hugely competent boots to fill the role.

We’re glad the grumpy Harrison Ford is back because, let’s face it, it wouldn’t be Star Wars without him appearing to hate every second of it.
