Harford County Sheriff's Office unveils new drones to fight crime

The Harford County Sheriff's Office has a new aerial crime-fighting tool in its arsenal. Officials announced Wednesday that the Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems Unit will help with aerial surveillance. The sheriff's office said the new tool has already had several successes and has not cost taxpayers anything. It may look like a fun toy, but it's not. Officials said the unmanned aircraft system, or drone, is helping law enforcement fight crime and keep the community safe.
