Here's the Real Reason Molly Roloff Isn't on "Little People, Big World" Anymore

  • Molly Roloff, the only daughter of Amy and Matt Roloff, is not on Little People, Big World anymore.

  • Over the years, the 27-year-old has made scarce appearances on the TLC series.

  • Molly is now married to Joel Silvius and the two live together in Spokane, Washington.

TLC’s Little People, Big World is back with a whole new season and Molly Roloff will mostly likely not appear on it. The 27-year-old has been noticeably absent on the reality show in recent years, only popping up when the cameras aren't rolling to take an occasional family holiday photo.

While the Roloffs have never explicitly explained why Molly doesn't appear on the show, it could have something to do with where she's currently living. As fans know, Molly, the only daughter of Amy and Matt, married Joel Silvius in an intimate wedding on Roloff Farms in August 2017. After tying the knot, it looks like she and Joel moved to Spokane, Washington.

Molly currently works at an accounting firm there, according to her LinkedIn profile. Spokane is about a five-to-seven-hour drive from Roloff Farms, so distance could be a big reason why she is unable to join her family on a regular basis for the show's tapings. But despite the distance, it’s clear that Molly and Joel remain close to the Roloffs.

“We feel blessed to have been able to celebrate our marriage surrounded by so many people we love,” the then-newlyweds said in a statement.

Once in a while, fans will catch a glimpse of Molly thanks to Amy's Instagram.

“This girl! She was and is my best birthday present. Happy Happy 25th Birthday Molly girl!” the 54-year-old wrote in September 2018. “I hope you have a wonderful fantastic blessed day - celebrating You. Love you forever and always!”

Molly's absence aside, there are other Roloffs who have opted out of filming the reality series. For instance, Molly's younger brother, Jacob, has been very vocal about staying off camera.

“Producers have to try to get us to follow the talking points,” he wrote on Instagram. “For me, noticing how the agenda of the crew doesn’t work well with the health and happiness of our family is what made me decide quite a while ago that I would not be a part of it as soon as I was able."

Now, the 23-year-old enjoys documenting his cross-country travels with his wife Isabel Rock.

Following in Molly and Jacob's footsteps, Jeremy Roloff and his wife, Audrey, announced in July 2018 that they would no longer be appearing on the show. The 29-year-olds decided to step away from the spotlight in order to focus on their own exciting projects.

We hope Molly, Jacob, and Jeremy continue to flourish in their own ways, and we'll always be here in case they ever change their minds.
