Halloween Ends, the upcoming trilogy capper which'll follow on from Halloween (2018) and this year's Halloween Kills, will see Kyle Richards reprise her role as Lindsey Wallace once again.

Ahead of the sequel's production kicking off next month, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star talked about how excited she was at the prospect of potentially working with Jamie Lee Curtis, whom she first met as a child actor on John Carpenter's original, again.

In the 1978 outing, Curtis's Laurie Strode wound up protecting little Lindsey from masked killer Michael Myers after he murdered her babysitter Annie (Nancy Kyes).

Richards returned to the role in Halloween Kills, as the townspeople of Haddonfield rallied together to try and stop Michael once and for all. (Spoiler alert: they didn't quite manage it).

According to Variety, Richards' inclusion in Halloween Kills went down so well with fans of the franchise that "the filmmakers rewrote the script to include her character in [the next movie], crafting an expanded storyline for her return."

"When my character didn't die [in Halloween Kills], I was like, 'Uhh, hello!'" the actor recently told the publication. "The last movie, I saw Jamie on the set, but we didn't have stuff together. So I'm really hoping that there is more stuff together."

"I can't talk about any storylines, but all I can say is that we start filming in January, and I'm so excited to return with Jamie Lee Curtis and [director] David Gordon Green."

"We are thrilled that Kyle will be reprising her role in Halloween Ends," producer Jason Blum added. "The return of iconic characters in Halloween Kills was really important to David Gordon Green, and he took great pains to bring back the original actors when he could."

Halloween Kills is expected to be released in October 2022.
