Guardians Of Galaxy Vol. 2 To Include Returning Marvel Character, Sylvester Stallone’s Costume Details Teased
Production on ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2′ is now well under-way, and the speculation last weekend that Sylvester Stallone was on-set suggests that there’s still plenty we don’t know about the blockbuster.
But it’s now been alleged that a beloved Marvel character might be returning for Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2, while we’ve also got some further information regarding Stallone’s character.
Obviously we are about to touch upon these rumours, which could turn out to be SPOILERS. So if you’re the type that wants to avoid them then you probably shouldn’t read ahead.
The latest news regarding ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2′ has come from On Location Vacations, whose sources have confirmed that Sylvester Stallone has shot some scenes for the film.
In fact, the insider also revealed that Sylvester Stallone is wearing a “costume [that] looks a lot like Judge Dredd.” For those that don’t know, Sylvester Stallone starred in an adaptation of the 2000 AD comic ‘Judge Dredd’ back in 1995.
On top of the Sylvester Stallone revelation, it’s also been speculated that Howard The Duck will once again appear in ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2′, building upon his post-credits cameo in the original. Don’t remember it? Then watch it below.
Hopefully that might mean we’re getting ever closer to a new ‘Howard The Duck’ movie, which, in my opinion, is something that, if done right, could take the comic-genre in a different direction entirely that’s akin to the impact ‘Deadpool’ is currently having.
Unfortunately, the rumour didn’t mention if Sylvester Stallone and Howard The Duck will be sharing a screen in the sequel. But if there actually is a God in the heavens then they’ll make sure that will happen.
We’ll get to see for ourselves when ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2′ is released on May 5, 2017.
