GTL 2.0! A whole new Jersey Shore cast leads a slew of fresh MTV and VH1 reality shows

This is what happens when music networks stop playing music and start getting real.

As part of their annual upfronts presentation to advertisers Wednesday, MTV Entertainment Studios announced a whole new crew is headed to the Jersey Shore: Jersey Shore 2.0 "chronicles a new generation of share house roommates hitting the same famed beaches and boardwalks along the Atlantic [as the original] to make new memories all summer long," the studio says of the new series, which comes 13 years after the original series premiered. "They may have traded their poofs for plumped pouts and UV rays for spray tans, but when things heat up in Jersey, the Shore is still the place to be to make memories all summer long."

Jersey isn't the only Shore coming to our screens. MTV will also air Buckhead Shore, which follows "the interpersonal lives of a group of friends making a name for themselves in the 'Beverly Hills of the South' as they escape their everyday life and head to the lake shore to let loose."

And Paramount+ is set to stream All Star Shore, "the first ever party competition show featuring 14 iconic reality stars from around the world and TV's biggest series — including Jersey Shore Family Vacation, Love Is Blind, RuPaul's Drag Race, Geordie Shore, Acapulco Shore, Rio Shore, Bachelor in Paradise and more — as they come together for an epic vacation at the ultimate Shore house in the Canary Islands to battle it out for the grand prize and global bragging rights."

But traditionalists need not worry, the O.G. Jersey Shore cast is also set to return for another season of Family Vacation. The studio teases that we'll see the crew head to El Paso for "an old-fashioned roomates-only trip" and to San Diego for a full family vacation. "But buckle up," the announcement warns, "because where this group goes, drama follows. Marriages inches past the point of no return, and it's time to settle some old scores that will have the whole family at odds."

Beyond the Shore-verse, MTV is also expanding their romance reality slate with Dating at Sea and Love at First Lie: Who's a Couple and Who's a Con and will launch a new competition series, Power Game, which is described as an "extreme social experiment that exposes how money, class, greed and power corrupt, 13 strangers are given absolute power to control the lives of those around them."

In addition to ordering more seasons of Teen Mom Young & Pregnant, Teen Mom Girls Night In, and Teen Mom: Family Reunion, MTV has also ordered Teen Mom: The Next Chapter, which brings together Teen Mom OG and Teen Mom 2 cast members for "one supersized series that focuses on the unique bond this 'Mom Group' shares."

Also returning to MTV are The Challenge, MTV's Catfish: The TV Show, Cribs, Siesta Key, and much more — plus a revival of VH1's The Surreal Life, which was originally slated to run on VH1 in 2021 with a cast including Stormy Daniels, Dennis Rodman, August Alsina, Tamar Braxton, Frankie Muniz, Kim Coles, CJ Perry, and Manny MUA.

Speaking of VH1, Black Ink fans are in for more seasons of Chicago, Compton, and New York; as well as Love & Hip Hop franchises Atlanta, Girls Night In, and Miami. Basketball Wives, VH1's Couples Retreat, and Wild 'N Out, among others, will also return. As for new series, the network is launching Hall of Love: The Ultimate Dating Experience, which sounds like a dating-app era version of Singled Out, an investigative series titled VH1's Unfaithful: Caught in The Act, and Basketball Wives spin-off Shaunie & Keion's Wedding Special.
