Group of Men Rescues Car as Tide Rises on Irish Beach

A motorist who parked his vehicle too near the ocean on Ireland’s Inch Beach was lucky when a group of beachgoers worked as a team to push the car out of the rising tide on August 13.

Footage by Linda Larkin shows a group of men working together to shove the car from the incoming Atlantic tide in County Kerry.

Larkin uploaded the video to her TikTok account on August 15.

“I just happened to be passing by when the guy decided to return to his car,” Larkin told Storyful.

This car was not the only one to get wet that weekend, with another example on Twitter sparking a debate in local media on whether cars should ever be allowed on beaches in Ireland. Credit: Linda Larkin via Storyful
