Groom gets cold feet, but ‘jilted bride’ has wedding party anyway: ‘Many laughs and a lot of tears’

A jilted bride didn’t stop celebrating on her wedding day — with the help of her family and friends.

TikToker Kayley Stead is a 27-year-old from Wales. Stead went viral when she revealed that her groom got cold feet on the wedding day. Instead of canceling the event, she held a glamorous party with her family and friends. It wasn’t the day she had envisioned, but it was still a day full of love nonetheless.

Watch this bland Brooklyn bedroom become a mid-century modern escape in just one day:

“So I was a jilted bride and unfortunately s*** things happen to people. Even though the day didn’t go to plan, I couldn’t let the hard work that I put into this day and a good party go to waste. The day was filled with many laughs and a lot of tears,” she explained in the caption.

She and the bridal party walked out to Lizzo’s “Good as Hell.” Stead said that it “carried” her throughout the day because the lyrics had never resonated so much. She and the bridesmaids wore their dresses, took shots and danced together.

Even all the groomsmen stayed for the festivities. However, the groom and his family left after finding it too hard, she elaborated in the comments, adding that despite the difficulties, she trusts whatever plan “there is out there for me.”

The video racked up over 4.9 million views on TikTok. People were moved by Stead’s resilience.

“Absolute queen for still enjoying your day,” someone wrote.

“Now this is the meaning of bossing up. That’s incredible strength and power,” another said.

“Those gals are amazing! They really showed up and said support! Such a lucky woman, all of you looked stunning!” a user replied.
