Kremlin-controlled energy giant Gazprom said on Tuesday work is underway on further links between its east and western pipeline networks after it launched construction of an 800-km pipeline in Russia's far east last month. The Belogorsk-Khabarovsk pipeline is designed to connect the China-bound Power of Siberia with the existing Sakhalin-Khabarovsk-Vladivostok link. "Design and survey work is underway on other (connectors)," Gazprom said, without elaborating.
