Gone Girl 's Rosamund Pike Deadlifts 100 Lbs.: 'Lionnesses Need to Be Strong'

Rosamund Pike is starting off the new year strong!

On Monday, the Gone Girl actress, 41, shared a fitness milestone with her fans on social media, revealing she hit a new personal record with her deadlifts.

"Joining the 💯 lb club," Pike proudly wrote alongside a video of herself setting the new personal record.

The actress explained to fans that she had been training with Boston-based personal trainer Tony Gentilcore for her upcoming Netflix thriller, I Care a Lot.

"Working out with @tonygentilcore in Boston for #icarealot . Marla Grayson is a lioness. And lionesses need to be strong," Pike said. "@tonygentilcore celebrates the strength of everyone he trains, and pushed me to find more than I knew I had. Thanks Tony 😍."

Gentilcore also shared the video on his personal Instagram page, writing that it "was a blast to work with [Pike] in the before times while she was in Boston filming her latest movie."

In her latest film, Pike stars as Marla Grayson, a ruthless con artist who swindles money from the elderly after she deceives judges to appoint her as their "legal guardian." However, she soon finds herself in hot water when one of her victims has ties to a powerful gangster, the film's official synopsis reads.

I Care a Lot first premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 12, 2020. Netflix later purchased the film's distribution rights.

The movie will become available for streaming on Netflix Feb. 19.
