Golf meets happy hour with new entertainment space coming near Charlotte’s South End

A new adults-only golf entertainment spot, Puttery Charlotte, is opening on Friday, Dec. 17 in Brookhill, near South End.

“Charlotte is already known for its epic nightlife and culinary scenes. From competitive socializing to curated culinary options and inventive craft cocktails, Puttery Charlotte offers everything you need to have a great time,” President and CEO Hana Khouri of Drive Shack Inc., Puttery’s parent company, said in a statement.

WHAT: Puttery Charlotte will feature 15,000 square feet space with two themed golf courses, two bars, garage-style doors for an indoor/outdoor patio experience, and multiple lounges and seating areas to relax before and after your tee times.

DETAILS: Guests will choose between two tech-enabled, nine-hole courses with immersive environments:

  • Conservatory – Take in giant redwoods, prickly cacti and cherry blossoms as you traverse a lush desert scene.

  • Library – Browse the shelves, spin the globe and check out the Dimetrodon (think dinosaur-era creature).

FOOD AND DRINK: The menu features apps such as tuna tostadas and veggie potstickers, salads and pizzas. Drink offerings include signature cocktails and classic offerings, as well as wine, beer and non-alcoholic choices.

The Puttery first opened in The Colony, Texas. The company is also expanding to Washington, D.C.; Miami, Houston and Philadelphia.

“Puttery is going to be unlike anything Charlotteans have experienced,” said Clayton Stanley, Puttery Charlotte’s general manager. “You truly feel transported when you walk through our doors, and with so many different entertainment options available, I know it will become a go-to spot for Charlotte locals and visitors alike.”
