Going to the Presidents Cup? Here are the parking and transportation options

Transportation options for the 2022 Presidents Cup at Quail Hollow Club include general parking lot availability, rideshare drop-offs and the LYNX Blue Line, tournament officials announced Tuesday.

There are six different lots located around Charlotte for those driving to the event, and shuttles will transport fans between the lot and the club’s main entrance. Parking must be purchased in advance and can be found at PresidentsCup.com.

The Presidents Cup parking options are:

  • Bojangles Coliseum: Open Tuesday-Sunday, 30-minute shuttle, free to park.

  • Carowinds: Wednesday-Friday, 30-minute shuttle. ($15/day)

  • Ballantyne Corporate Place: Saturday-Sunday, 20-minute shuttle. ($15/day)

  • Charlotte Catholic High School: Friday-Sunday, 10-minute shuttle. ($40/day)

  • Hedgemore Plaza: Tuesday-Sunday, 10-minute shuttle. ($40/day)

  • SouthPark Mall: Tuesday-Sunday, 10-minute shuttle. ($40/day)

For fans using rideshare services, such as Uber or Lyft, tournament officials have provided a rideshare pick-up/drop-off lot on Gleneagles Rd.

The tournament also encouraged ticket holders to use Charlotte’s LYNX Blue Line. Fans can get on at a variety of stops but should get off at the Sharon Road West Station, where shuttles will then take them to Quail Hollow’s main entrance.

“If you are looking to purchase a parking pass, we encourage you to do so quickly, and for those using rideshare or the LYNX Blue Line, adjust your arrival time accordingly based on traffic patterns throughout the week,” Executive Director Adam Sperling said.

Fans coming from uptown can also go to the Charlotte Convention Center at East M.L.K Blvd. and take a complimentary shuttle from there to Quail Hollow.

The Presidents Cup is a biennial men’s golf challenge that pits a team of golfers from the United States against their non-European international counterparts.

Grounds tickets for Friday and Saturday are sold out, but fans can still purchase tickets for Thursday and Sunday at PresidentsCup.com.
