Glen Powell responds to Golden Globes mix-up with This Is Us star
Top Gun: Maverick star Glen Powell has posted a witty response to a Golden Globes mix-up after The Hollywood Reporter confused him with This Is Us actor Justin Hartley.
The Hollywood Reporter, while covering the Golden Globes on Twitter/X, posted a photo of Hartley with the caption: "Glen Powell has arrived for tonight's 2024 #GoldenGlobes ceremony."
In response, Powell posted a screenshot and wrote: "I think this is the perfect time to announce that @justinhartley and I will be starring in the most boring body-swap movie of all time."

The Hollywood Reporter replied back to Powell, writing: "well played @glenpowell – ... and apologies! We have our glasses on now!"
Meanwhile, Patrick Schwarzenegger wrote: "I want in." Shang-Chi star Simu Liu also joined in, commenting: "Damn this happens to white people too!"
Powell currently stars in the hit rom-com Anyone But You alongside Euphoria actress Sydney Sweeney, which produced affair rumours between the two stars.

Powell recently opened up about filming a nude scene for that movie. The scene in question follows Powell's character stripping at the edge of a cliff while Sweeney's character tries to remove a spider from inside his shorts.
"Taking your clothes off on the side of a cliff in a hurry is not safe either.
"Nobody talks about that safety issue on set, where I almost died falling off a cliff taking my pants off too fast. But it’s a really fun scene, so it was all worth it.
"You just have to grip it and rip it on a scene like that," he added. "You know you’re not going to leave that filming day looking cool, so you just have to embrace it."
Anyone But You was released in the UK on December 26.
