Gisele Bündchen Calls 10-Year-Old Daughter Vivian Her ‘Partner’ in Sweet New Vacation Pic

Jujitsu instructor Joaquim Valente is not Gisele Bündchen’s only “partner” in Costa Rica.

On March 18, the 42-year-old supermodel shared video footage of her beach-side horseback-riding adventure with her 10-year-old daughter, Vivian Lake. In a second post on her Instagram Stories, she shared a photo of the mother-daughter duo clasping hands as they ride side by side. “My little partner,” Bündchen captioned the pic, accompanied by the song “Better Together” by Jack Johnson.

Gisele Bündchen shares two children with her ex-husband Tom Brady: 10-year-old Vivian and 13-year-old Benjamin. Prior to her divorce from the newly retired NFL player in October 2022, Bündchen expressed her desire for Brady to be “more present” as a father. “I’ve done my part, which is [to] be there for [Tom],” Bündchen told Elle in September. “I moved to Boston, and I focused on creating a cocoon and a loving environment for my children to grow up in and to be there supporting him and his dreams.”

She continued, “I feel very fulfilled in that way, as a mother, and as a wife. And now it’s going to be my turn. It’s not like I’m going to be in the [career] valley forever.”

Since their split, Bündchen has made good on her promise to return to her modeling career, but that doesn’t mean she can’t take a vacation every now and again. Earlier this week the model was photographed in Costa Rica alongside jujitsu instructor Joaquim Valente, who has accompanied Bündchen on two other trips to the Central American country since her divorce from Brady. In the recent pics, which can be seen here, the model wore a burnt orange bikini top with a beige wrap skirt and flip-flops, while Valente went similarly casual in a T-shirt with green shorts.

Following Valente and Bündchen’s trip in January, a source told People, “Gisele adores and trusts [Valente] and has been spending a lot of time with him, but I don’t think it’s a traditional dating scenario. They have a deep personal relationship, and he is a teacher to her and the kids. Whether or not it will ever become more than that rests on the table.”

Despite Brady’s recent retirement plans, Bündchen reportedly has no plans to rekindle her relationship with her ex. “Gisele moved on with her life quite a while ago and is happy about whatever Tom chooses to do with his life now,” a source told People in February. “[She] is fine with his decisions but is not involved with them.”
